Globalicious is a unique concept of cultural event & global grooves party. Our aim is to let people dance on global grooves from all over the world, but also raise consciousness by discussing social and cultural issues. For this edition we invite Skip, a new hip hop band playing their first concert in Brussels. Dj Rita Maia is our guest dj and she is considered as one of the best female dj’s out there. Pisanou Donnez is a young talented hip hop dancer from Brussels, who will show us some great hip hop moves. Last but not least Jerry Afriyie is poet, social critic and activist from Netherlands. Brussels are you ready for this?

Globalicious is a cultural event and party launched by dj, philosopher & author Bruselo aka Bleri Lleshi. The aim is to let people dance on global grooves from all over the world, but also raise consciousness by discussing social and cultural issues.
Globalicious is also a celebration of cultural diversity. We will offer concerts with music all over the world, dance workshops and will introduce you to the diversity of Brussels and the world.
Globalicious is a party! We will invite local and international dj’s to play global grooves and make you dance till the early morning. We play cumbia, Balkan, Arabesque, global funk, coupé décalé, hip hop, dancehall, reggae…
Jerry King Luther Afriyie is poet, social critic and activist. In Netherlands he is known for his commitment and activism. Afriyie is one of the main voices in the struggle against racism. At the same time an inspiring thinker commited to bring people together. We are very happy to have him in Brussels.
Skip is a brand new hip hop band in Brussels. They play an explosive mixture of hip hop and funk. This will be their very first concert in Brussels. Write down their name because these band is going to make it to the top. Put your dancing shoes on for their concert as it is going to groove!
Pisanou Donnez is a multi talented dancer. Hip hop, break, tricking… all of them are his specialities. A young dancer from Brussels with big talent and dreams.
Rita Maia makes movies and radio, but is also a gifted DJ. She is born in Portugal and raised in London. She has been engaged in spreading world beats, Afro dancefloor sounds from around the globe. London Worldwide FM. She has also contributed in giving opportunities to local talents in her hometown: Lissbon. As we are doing the same at Globalicious: this is a perfect match!
Bruselo: Philosopher, writer and DJ. Bruselo plays urban roots & global grooves from the mountains of Balkan to the beaches of Brazil: cumbia, Balkan, arabesque, soukous, coupé décalé, hip hop, reggaeton and reggae. Music with groove!
